In this 60-minute video, Eric will teach you everything you need to know to sail from point A to point B.   The boat in the video is a Flying Scot, the same boat used to teach CLSA sailing lessons.  Learn to Sail in 60 Minutes can be taken by anyone, whether preparing for an on-the-water learning program or those interested in learning more about the sport.  Page numbers are referenced in the video so you can easily follow along in textbook.

Capsize Recovery & Rescue

Attend this 60-minute zoom workshop and learn how to safely recover from a capsize.  We’ll review video footage of capsize recoveries and discuss the recovery techniques used for both single-hand and multi-person dinghies.  We’ll also explain rescue considerations and best practices for safety boat operators when assisting with the rescue of a capsized boat.

Attend this 60-minute zoom workshop and learn to sail with a symmetric spinnaker.  We’ll review video training footage and discuss basic and intermediate spinnaker handling techniques that are common on boats sailed at Clinton Lake.  We’ll review the processes for a hoist, jibe, and douse.  Register today and meeting details will be sent to you the day of the workshop.
